This place is outstanding!! The staff and manager are top notch! They are really friendly and accomodating. The campsites are wonderfully maintained and big!! The campground itself is the epitome of nature and relaxation. This is a great place to stay from the staff to the campground itself to the location. We will definitely be back!!
I would like to say this is a very well organized establishment. The restrooms are very nice & clean with private shower rooms located in each restroom. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The walking trail behind the RV park is very nice, be aware of wild animals, we did see a small bobcat. The only suggestion is to provide instructions on the best route available for accessing the RV park and highway as the routes suggested by google/maps can be very dangerous for RVs, we had unknowingly attempted the wrong route, be aware as some routes are very narrow and sharp steep turns depending on where your next destination is.
This is the first time we have stayed at Gatlinburg East and will not be the last. The campsites are spacious, the campgrounds were very well kept, the entire team was very pleasant and professional and was supporting any needs we had. Deliver your firewood and ice to your site within minutes. Definitely a next visit coming soon. Thanks to everyone!!
We just left after a 4 day stay to meet friends for Thanksgiving. Hands down the best KOA we have stayed at. The sites are well maintained, clean and spacious. The amenities are top notch. We already are talking about making a trip this summer! Great place to stay! We didn’t mind the drive to Gatlinburg or Smokey Mountain National Park. It is nice to be away from all the traffic. We had firewood and pizza delivered right to our site. They have great communication and always have activities going on.
AMAZING PLACE. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sites are big and very well maintained. We had a patio site with chairs and deluxe fire pit. We made fun memories with our family.
We played BINGO in the rec room on Saturday night. 😃

Go eat at the woodshed if you are starving or if it is before 5:00 PM order a pizza at the office and they will deliver it to your site.
Kat was a hoot to chat with and the other staff in the office were helpful and friendly..
