About Campground

Welcome to Adventure Bound Gatlinburg, our family-owned Gatlinburg, Tennessee campground. Camping in the Smokies has never been more enjoyable than this; a secluded mountain hideaway that is only a short trip from the hustle-bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Here, we like to stretch the traditional idea of a Gatlinburg campground to put our guests in a true resort that will have you coming back, season after season.

We know that there is a camping style for everyone and we have made it our goal to cater to your different needs. Whether you choose to swim in our large pool, zoom down our 500-foot waterslide, hike, fish, relax by a campfire, or participate in planned activities and special events, we have something to offer every kind of camper. Our Gatlinburg cabin rentals, RV sites, and tent sites are among the very best Tennessee campgrounds and RV parks.

You supply the adventure; let our Gatlinburg Campground take care of the rest.

This is the second time I booked a stay here. The first time we booked a spot my son fell and compound fractured his leg and was in a wheelchair and on a walker and wasn’t allowed to get leg wet. I cancelled over a month in advance and they wouldn’t refund all my money they kept a $23 resort fee. We booked a second stay during Halloween weekends October 12-15 I had a creek side premium spot that I barely fit my camper into and my neighbors fire pit was approximately 2 ft from my camper. I had to squeeze my truck in beside the camper extremely tight. The advertised Wi-Fi is hardly useable the cable didn’t work at all and the water went out twice once on Friday and permanently Saturday. The staff is absolutely awesome and are doing the best with what they have. It is definitely not worth the price. This was the most expensive place we have stayed and is the worst. I was given a credit for a future stay over the water but I feel the right thing would have been to credit my current stay and let me decide if I want to return. Again the staff are top notch but the facility needs updating. Maybe the owners need to invest some of the profits back into the property.

We have been staying at this campground for the last several years and it has consistently gotten worse each year. The prices continue to increase but they are not using any of the money to put back into the campground to make it better. The electrical hook ups on several sites are very dangerous and will eventually get someone seriously injured. They have several people working there that are very questionable and are on some sort of substance. The management knows nothing and they don’t care about any issues that are reported to them. If they didn’t have Mike and Kim working there I really don’t know how they would manage. They keep the campground safe and running. The pool is never clean neither are the bath houses and the slide is great but there is never a responsible worker there to make the kids follow the rules. Most days there is no worker present. I finally took my kids and left because the lady would

Not make the teenager kids follow rules and I didn’t want my kids hurt. The playground is a joke and so is the so called rec center. There is no water pressure and once we actually had no water at all. I would seriously reconsider staying at this campground. It used to be one of our favorites but it has went downhill.

We booked a 4 day, 3 night stay last weekend for Tennessee cabin #219. Unfortunately the well went out and our trip got cut short, due to no water supply ( no fault of theirs at all) . Regardless, we had a fantastic time, while it lasted. Campground is great and the staff was super nice and friendly. Our money was refunded immediately.

Would def stay there again in the future.

This campground is amazing! We camped in tents on 2 sites, because we had a big group and had to have 3 tents, and couldn't have asked for a better place. We were right beside the stream so it made sleeping alot easier. The sites are good size and have only RV hook ups, but they did sell the adapters in the store for like $5 to convert to a normal plug outlet. The campground has a decent size pool and a water slide, which the kids all enjoyed. It also has a fish pond with a few small bass and pan fish. There is a playground and a recreational room as well. The staff here go above and beyond and are some of the nicest people we have ever met. Overall we really like this place and would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely enjoyed Adventure Bound Gatlinburg! The 4th of July week brought an exciting vibe, and the staff was truly awesome. Relaxing by the stream near our cabin was a highlight. Their amazing and accommodating staff ensures we'll be returning for sure.
