We camped at Jemez Falls. We had a great time and got out of the 103+ temps in the metro. Camp is well maintained. Fresh potable water is available. Pit toilets were clean. The cool stream is about 1/2 mile hike from the camp. Warm springs are a brutal 2.5 mile hike each way (make sure to take way more water than you think is necessary) but they are totally worth it! We also took our bikes to cruise around the camp for entertainment. Everyone is good about keeping their dogs on leads & the hosts are on top of everything. Can't wait to go back!
Amazingly peaceful until I heard a scream/growl that couldn't have been human!! Not amazingly peaceful anymore but amazingly awesomely intriguing!!!! Maybe bigfoot?!?!
