This is by far the best drive on beach I've been to. The police presence was kind and nice, which allowed for a safe fun time. The beach was overall clean. Having food trucks on the beach was next level. Also the shaved Italian ice guy, that's nit "shaved ice" it was better and life changing. We will 10/10 come back and camp and visit.
This is a wonderful park and a $5 admission fee. No pets. Campground and bathrooms. Beach area. A large area of several miles where you can drive 4wd and awd vehicles on the beach. The road to the campground has been washed out and needs repair, I hope the State gets to it, it will eventually be impassable.
Nice campsites, although not much privacy. A beautiful beach unfortunately dogs are not allowed. Helicopters from the nearby base can be a little loud.
Absolutely breathtaking sites and wild life. We had a blast looking at the shells and sharks teeth that were on the shore. Its extremely cool that you can also drive on the beach, which is perfect since I’m partially paralyzed. We did watch a couple people surfing there. It only cost 5 dollars to get into the park! They had a playground, RV area, picnic, and much more
