Lake area campground with 29 campsites along the eastern shore of Lake Delancy in the Big Scrub.
From Salt Springs, drive north along SR 19 to the "Lake Delancy" sign on the left side of the highway. Turn left. Follow this access road to the turnoff on the left into the campground.
We parked here for the day to go ride our UTV through the forest, very nice, very clean.
The camping area was beautiful and affordable. It was almost too tight with a 28 foot you hauler. The trails we're very loose sand (not very fun on a dirt bike)
We go here multiple times a year. This is primitive camping. Most of the time there isn’t a host on site. It’s very lax for camping.
There is no camp host, so you just drive in, find a spot, and camp. Rode the trail and roads with my ayv, super fun.
It's mostly ATV, motorbikes, etc. If you're looking for quiet, you're in the wrong place... unless it's late fall/winter during the week & then, it's wonderful!
