Didn't camp here but i stop on my bike rides. Good site with picnic table enuff room for a tent no electric no water
I would not camp here. its a good 5 miles from the parking lot and there are no restrooms or any other facilities nearby. Im not sure how you would get your camp gear out here.
If you want to be in the middle of nowhere with nature then this is your spot.
Just follow the bike trail for about 5 miles or so. The sign is visible from the bike trail, you can't miss it.
This campsite is actually RIGHT off the bike trail, which is great if you want to bike to it but not quite as private as the other campsites. You will definitely hear bikers in the morning.
It's a magical site, a little far to get to, but you're right next to a river and it's quite secluded even though it is right next to the bike path. If you're there at the right time of year, wild blackberries grow all around it.
Fun but it was not "Back Country". "Primitive", yes. Right off the paved trail with no privacy. It was a nice size, with a picnic table and fire pit. A controlled burn was done very recently so very little wood or small pieces were around.
