If quite and rustic is your flavor, then this is a nice hidden jem for you! Camper or RVs? No hook ups or dump station. But hey, you are camping right? Glampers? Not your ideal spot. DNR was friendly and helpful. Only a few lakeside spots, but several with views of the lake. And the lake? Clear & clean! Not a large lake, but perfect for a kayak small boat or party barge. Fishing from the shore isn't productive. Gotta get out on the lake and fish the edges... clean and very clear water, so you have to stay nearly silent in your approach to fishing.... best bet to catch fish? Jig the edges...

Beautiful little lake, with a nice State Forest campground. Lots of space and wooded areas to explore. Crystal clear waters, great for boating fishing and swimming.

This is my favorite place to camp. If you like rustic, this campground is great. The outhouses are well maintained, the sites are a generous size, fire pits are newer and it's surrounded by water. We come here as often as possible.
