From jct SR70 Hwy 48: Go 1 3/4 mi N on SR 48.
Just stayed here for three nights. Great campground nestled in the Juniper trees. The owner and his family went out of their way to help us get settled in. We arrived a bit late and they met us at the gate to guide us in. Mostly all retirees staying here. Very quiet and super friendly. Can’t wait to get back.
My wife and I took our little boy and our pups to this wonderful resort. It’s right outside Ruidoso, easy commute to town, beautiful scenery all around, and it was sooooo quiet. We had some issues getting into the resort on our first night and the hosts were very accommodating. Mike even helped me park into our spot since I’m still a novice. We had several lovely chats with the hosts and other campers. It’s a great spot. We hope to come again! We highly recommend Elk Run!
Very nice place. What made it even better was the people. Everyone was was very helpful. I will definitely be staying here again.
Real nice place. Good location at the corner of Hwy 48 and Airport Road.
Spent 10 days in 42ft 5th wheel. FHU. Site was mostly level on crushed granite. Large fenced pet area. Friendly & helpful owner & staff. Would stay again if in area.
