Amazing place to camp! The person in charge of the campground was super nice and sweet. The restrooms were kept clean the whole time we were there. It's right next to the Osha trail as well. Definitely coming back!
We come to the Pines and Upper Fir campgounds every year. They are managed by the same host (Don) this year. Don has done an exceptional job of not only managing the campgound maintenance, but he also does an excellent job of trying to satisfy everyone's needs. We will definitely be back next year.
I love this place. Its always so clean, the host's are so friendly. They helped us find a campsite, they drive by every day to see if everything's okay. The location is wonderful and there's great hiking trails
The camp host is extremely friendly and ever so helpful. Nice clean restrooms and hot shower areas. Very beautiful and quiet up in the Sacramento mountains. My family had a great camping experience and we'll be returning again for more wonderful memories.
We loved this campground and will be back as soon as we can. It was perfect for tent camping, had easy access to trails, and was kept very clean. This is the first campground in Cloudcroft I have been to where rules regarding generators/noise were enforced/followed, and I truly appreciated the quiet. The only downside is that our site did not have a faucet, as compared to the site we had when we stayed at the Silver campground, and this complicated things slightly. It's obvious the host Don manages this place very well. He was so kind and went out of his way to make our experience pleasant. He even checked on us during a thunderstorm. As an inexperienced camper, I had a lot of questions and he patiently answered all of them. The campground itself was great, but Don's kindness and the suggestions he gave is what really made the experience awesome.
