This campground was even better than I expected. The management went above and beyond to accodmodate us and make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely friendly and recommended activities/attractions in the area. Upon arrival, we were interested in changing sites. They allowed us to view multiple other sites and choose whichever was available and fit our needs. We also brought our boat and were allowed to store it in an extra storage area (upon approval before arriving.

Overall, the campground itself was very clean, facilities were upkept, and it was very dog-friendly. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for the amazing weekend getaway.

Honest review here. Kind of what I was expecting looking at pics and other reviews. Host was pleasant at check in. Knew campers were close...but look at the pic...there's supposed to be another camper in between me and the other camper. If it's a busy weekend, then expect to share a fire pit and table with strangers. Some rules are made on the fly by manager. Apparently no stakes allowed in ground for tiki torches...must go the same for tents. Not in their rules so plan to walk on egg shells and being watched by the hosts for the remainder of your stay.

We stayed there 2 weekends in a row as a midway point to the north woods. Staff was nice and courteous. The first weekend was fine. Thankfully no one utilized the space right next to us. The next weekend we returned on our way home. Super tight next to our neighbor. Our slide-out was going to cover their drains. We didn't bother to open our windows because we were maybe 2 feet max from the next camper. They played music loud too that we could hear til 11pm. And we had no firepit and no picnic table. For $47/night I would expect a fire pit and table. The full hookup was a great feature though. Would I stay here again? Yes, it served its purpose as a stopping point. It will not be a destination for us though.

Great Campground! I didn't go in any of the buildings so I can't speak to that. We had full hook ups, nice and quiet, plenty of room. We used a golf cart to get to the beach, it would otherwise be a long walk with all your gear. Great trails along the river/ fairly grassy but nice. Fire rings, you can buy wood, ice, etc. Great area with restaurants and tubing that goes right by the Campground and starts & ends at Loopy's Restaurant/Bar Grill. We had a great time and stayed real busy. This is also connected to the Renaissance Festival when that is open, so the main office is designed in that style. Pretty cool place!

Spent 3 nights in our tiny 13’ Scamp made us feel that we were in the “land of the giants”…large campers with multiple slide outs that dwarfed our rig. Nevertheless, the grounds were well kept, well equipped, spotless toilet/shower facilities, and easy hook ups for utilities. Everyone was friendly and attentive of any concern we may have. Speeders we’re policed and curfews enforced by the long term renters, made us feel safe. Nice feeling of community…we recommend!
