Boaters beware! This marina is too shallow for large haul boats, do not use their gas dock! We hit ground, major damage to shafts on boat. Another vessel staying there the night before had hit ground as well we found out later. I question their honesty and loyalty to boaters in lieu of money for fuel. They acted surprised it was so shallow and did change subject quickly when we questioned the condition of our haul. They should have never let us in there, very angry with this marina.
We recently overnighted in a transient dock at this harbor while bringing our houseboat down river from Minnesota. Overall a good experience, it was nice to have a mechanic available as we are new to boating. The water is shallow.
Really great playground by the river but if you have small children, there's no fencing along the river so just be aware they can get down to the water. There are picnic tables and a decent pretty clean bathroom near the playground.
This isn't even a 1 star rating. I rented a pontoon boat for the day on Saturday July 30th. Was clean, full of cobwebs, live well didn't work and deph finder didn't work. As we left were told if we had any problems to contact them. We'll, we hit a sandbar and the boat wouldn't go. Called them numerous times and was told we were on our own, flag someone down! Seriously, we spent 3 hours + stranded. Finally had to call 911 to help us. One person my cousin talked to wouldn't help because it was his birthday. I could go on, but you get the picture. Terrible service! I highly recommend that no one rent from this place. I have pictures and text messages to prove this happened!
