It was so nice me and my dad were reeling them in all the time we would cast out and in 30 seconds we would have a fish best place to fish.
Was a nice place for the wedding reception but they needed to clean off the tables and pick up the sticks .
Pierce Creek is one of my favorite conservation areas. The lake is very productive for fishing and kayak friendly as it's a no motor lake.
Well groomed equestrian trails are around the lake, a nice little campground with water and electric and lots of wildlife.
We've been picnicking here since I was a child in the 1980s. Honestly, it's not like it used to be. The trees are an improvement, it used to have no windbreak and the wind was terroble, haha! Though, now the playground equipment really needs redone, and it would be great if someday the bathrooms were updated (they're the hole in the floor type), BUT if you want a quiet place with a picnic shelter, a water spigot, nearby bathroom, and BBQ, it's perfect.
