Was disappointed in the site being unleveled, many sites appeared this way. I didn’t like that when I sat outside I could see the neighbors directly behind me, meaning the campers weren’t directly behind each other they were off a bit.
No Wi-Fi unless you wanted to pay by the day, 3 days or a week. I decided against it because if it were anything like their cable it sucked!
Nice play ground & pool for the kids which is a plus. The state forest was close so that’s a plus as well but that’s all that was.
The restaurants nearby were so overpriced… no hamburger is worth $15!
My suggestion is look for camping at the state park or find another one close by.
We have been here permanently now for several years. We love it here. Upgraded wifi and pool is awesome, best compared to any other place we have been. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. Pet friendly dog park is a bonus, our Lucy loves it.
This is our second year. We stay a full week each time. We drive five hours and 15 minutes for spot 34. This is electric/water hookup. We bring a rhino hookup for easy dumping of black water by the office.
This campground is by far the best and we love it. Extremely well run. Check in and out is very well set up. Gate access is fantastic. Great pool with large walk down steps and goes from 3-5 foot gradually.
Small camp store that is well stocked. Weekend activities (this year it was bingo and two live bands). Free Hey Rides on Saturdays at 3.
Relaxed atmosphere. We had 5 sites total betwen all the family that came down and it was amazing.
Clean campground with a great feel for the country setting. All pictures were within 50 feet of our site.
