Guy was guiding me into a spot. As I started to make my turn, he started yelling at me to stay straight and not to turn. He guided my camper into his truck. He did not offer any insurance or apologies, he just told me to leave.

I am a student at OSU and have lived here for the past 2 years. Whenever I have a problem, Ed and the boys take care of me. Mrs. G, the new manager, is awesome!!! She's always so kind to me and answers any questions I have. She's also the kind of woman who won't take any BS, which is an admirable trait to have. So don't upset her! She'll do anything to try and make your stay pleasant, all you have to do is ask. Sadly, the washer and dryer are no longer in service so you have to go in town to a laundromat. Also, the wifi works pretty well since she had a newer system put in. Be warned that the wifi is satellite wifi so it's naturally slower. I've enjoyed staying here and as a single, young college lady, I've felt quite safe out here. Y'all should also know that though Ed can be a cranky, old man, he's lived an interesting life to make him the way he is. He's yelled at me before and I didn't appreciate it at all!! He works hard and doesn't make time for any BS. If you look past his extremely rough exterior and rudeness, you'll find a man who will actually give you the shirt off his back. If you respect him then he'll respect you. I say this about him because I've actually gotten to know him, unlike most people. The first time you speak with him, ask him what he's done in his lifetime. He has the most incredible stories you won't believe but they're actually true!! (I've double checked some of his stories because they were so out there.) If you just ask him about his life or how his day is going, it's amazing how nice he can be when someone shows they care. I believe that's how most people are. So to deal with Ed, just be nice and respectful. You don't have to agree with him, just remember he's human too. And he pretty much always talks in a gruff, stern voice so he seems mean from the get go. To sum this up: my stay here has been nice overall, Ed has a tendency to be cranky but he's really nice if you get to know him and Mrs. G is super sweet!

Note: Ed is Mr. Whitehead and Mrs. G is Mrs. Whitehead. I've gotten to know both of them very well and they're like grandparents to me now so I call them what I'm comfortable with. They're both very nice people. Ed just takes a while to warm up to people.

We are posting this review to inform everyone that we have made a change in management and that the few negative issues have been addressed. We are working hard to improve the park and have also reduced the rates to be more in line with other parks in the area. DEER CROSSING RV Park is closest to downtown Stillwater and OSU, close enough to the city for all the conveniences of shopping, dining and entertainment but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. We also offer all of the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay which includes individual electric, water, septic connections, garbage pickup and WiFi. Please come by and see us.

This is absolutely the worst RV Park experience that I have ever had. I moved in 1 1/2 weeks ago and immediately started hearing bad things about the owner. He constantly is arguing with tenants and never talks to anyone with a pleasant voice after he gets your money. Today I witnessed approximately 10 RV'ers leave to go find other places to stay. I was one of them. His price his higher than the average here, and truly bad customer service.

9 a.m.beatings on door for rent a week early. Very unprofessional.

Edit: The we are under new management is a total bs line and its way abused. It's an easy way to say sorry we didn't take care of you...maybe next time there will be new management. Pfft. Cracks me up.

And that is the least of the problems that come with living here.

Now I am not one to bad mouth any business that has good customer service or even little customer service but this place is Bad News.

As stated above, I have had Mr. Whitehead beating on my RV door hard enough to knock things of shelves and wake the dead. I also have had an instance where when a old associate was stalking me and calling/texting threats so I blocked that number and low and behold the associate actually called Mr. Whitehead to see if he would get ahold of me. And of course Mr. Whitehead called me and yelled at me like I had done him wrong. To further my point, I dont believe my personal issues in life are his concern. I pay my rent. I keep my living area clean. And I have done tons of work to help this man. While living there, a person Ed hired mow the grass around the RV and actually run into a slide out. When I asked what happened strangely no one knew. I've had my water hose cut up, my sewage drain removed and replaced with a trash one he said was better and numerous others mishaps with no apology or reimbursement. If you value your money, property, or your self respect, do not come here. Only thing good here is Mr. Whitehead's very polite and respectful wife. Without her there would be NO tenants here. I've been here over a year now and seen approximately 10 trailers here in that time...and they leave quick. So heads up to you all....look at the photo of the lot. If you noticed its empty almost and looks more like a dump site than an RV park. I'd rather pay 25$ dollars more monthly then spend one more minute being spoken to like a child in timeout and paying for it too. Oh also there is no mail delivered to the RV park so if you live there you have to get a p.o. box. Better places in stillwater. Keep looking is my advice.
