If you’re looking for a calm and clean place to stay, this is it. The owners are so kind and helpful and then location is amazing. Walking distance to everything! Super clean and always quiet at night. Couldn’t recommend a better place to stay in the area.
I hesitate to give this review because this is such a small RV park and I would hate it too become a Haven for many. But, I must give it it's due!
My husband and I are both disabled and on canes, we like to escape the desert heat for the coast, but there are few places that are centrally located and affordable.
We travel in a small van conversion but do not want to use it just to explore the local area in which we could, albeit slowly, walk.
Cypress, Morro Bay RV Park, affords us all of these and more.
This is a family-owned business has been in the family for Generations. It is incredibly well kept, clean and has good facilities, including restroom showers laundry as well as, old-fashioned, clotheslines. At the same time, it is very modern with beautifully paved driveways and the owners are very friendly and accommodating.
We are only a couple of blocks from the beach and a few blocks from a major supermarket and every shop that you could need for supplies.
I highly recommend Cypress Moro Bay RV Park...but please do not request our favorite spaces which we will not disclose. 😉
Within walking distance of the waterfront.
Clean laundry and lavatories. No muddy ground since it's landscaped in pavers and gravel. Very clean look.
It's a good place as a home base while exploring the area.
Pro: Very clean and well kept. Clean showers and restrooms. Management is friendly. Reasonable rates. Close to the bay, restaurants and shops. You can hear the fog horns and seagulls. (Relaxing)
Con: Sites are close together (My neighbor had a slide out so I couldn't extend my awning) To much road noise. (I was toward the front of the park)
Overall I was pleased but if you like rustic camping this is not the place but it sure beats hotel / motel costs.
Our first visit here at Cypress Morro Bay RV with our Airstream. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Sites are immaculate with brick pavers throughout most the park. The location is perfect with close vicinity to Embarcadero restaurants and shops. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
