Have stayed here for several years now. Clean and well maintained, and the swimming hole is fun. But unfortunately, their rates are comparable to other campgrounds that provide full hookups, bathroom/shower facilities, and a dumpster. This place only has power at some sites, porta pottys, and you must take your garbage with you. Also, they asked us to pay for a second small tent on our site that two of our kids were sleeping in. Starting to feel like this place nickel and dimes you without providing anything special.

Cons- The train is really loud and there no indoor restrooms.

Pros - The porta potties are clean! I did get moved from one site to another, no problem! Then they gave us two free tube rentals for the inconvenience.

The location of the campground is beautiful and the camp site's are very nice.

The owners are amazing! Very kind and humble. I will definitely come back year after year!!

They fit me into a spot with no problem. They were in town when I called them around 8-8:30 pm and I didn’t arrive until 9-9:15 that night. They just said go ahead and take site 15c and that they would get with me on payment. I did not see them until mid morning. Which was VERY NICE of them for not banging down the door for payment which has happened to about all on late arrivals. The following Morning I stepped outside to a Wonderful 360 View Of A Campsite Surrounded With Hills and Trees And A Creek That Is Running Through The Back Of Campsite. Very Well Landscaped And Well Kept! And Actually Very Beautiful Without A Doubt! But now I have to be straight up and just say with the price of 56$ after taxes without Showers, and no water source let alone no sewage dump… Well… with most campers that isn’t going to fly. But I was perfectly fine and enjoyed a great safe night sleep

We were looking for a last minute reservation and they were able to provide it. The grounds were very well kept and the portable bathrooms were the cleanest I have ever seen. We floated the river which was very nice. We were very happy with our stay at the Crystal Springs Campground. The 2 things I wish they had were more spaces that offered shade trees and that they provided WIFI for their guests.

We enjoy camping here! This campground is very spacious and has beautiful views. Crystal springs campground is the best and not too far from lava. The owners are very nice and friendly. Just got to say this to all the people commenting about the noise and the loud train, that is what camping is all about if you don’t like noise just stay home period.
