What an absolutely amazing place! We stayed in the Idelwild cabin and the accommodations were more than accommodating! Great playgrounds for the littles and awesome amenities for the campers and adult guests!

We went to a Father Son Retreat at Crooked Creek Ranch. The setting is excellent. The décor is fantastic! Everything is decorated in a mining theme. The climbing wall is like you are climbing in an old mine. The dorms are comfortable and the grounds are very clean. If you have a chance to go there, you will not be disappointed!

Only 15/20 minutes from Fraser/Winter Park, respectively, Crooked Creek is an excellent location. The winter staff was friendly, accommodating and helpful to our needs as a church retreat. The rooms are large and have there own bathrooms. We had no problem with the room temperature at night even as the outdoors dropped into the negatives. It was a clean environment. Food was A+, much much better than I expected from a camp.

Such an incredible place. The location is great, 10 mins from Winter Park with huge, ranging views. The big log cabins, mining town decorations, and allll the activities make it so unique. I went during Snow Camp and it was a fairytale watching the snow sprinkle with the view in the background.

Staff is incredibly friendly, upbeat, and engaging with the kids. They make it known that the camp is a ‘place for kids to just be kids’. Somewhere they can get away from the hustle of every day life and focus on spirituality, community and themselves. Spending a weekend here was very refreshing, you feel very at one with nature.

I stayed here last weekend with my school. I had never attended a Young Life camp and I was very impressed overall. The accommodations were great, all the buildings were very nice and it was cool how they all had a cohesive theme (Western themed.) The food was excellent, the dining hall is spacious and has huge glass windows which allow you to overlook the camp. My only complaint was with my cabin’s showers and bathrooms, they were not as bad as other camps I have been to but they could’ve been cleaner. However, I know that is something you just have to deal with at camp so that wasn’t a huge issue for me. The campsite is absolutely gorgeous, I loved the views of the mountains that were so prevalent. I went on the zipline during free time one day and it was awesome, it’s a short ride and not super fast but it was really fun. The staff were very professional in helping us which was comforting, but the wait to zipline was pretty long because of the amount of campers we had. If you go in the fall/winter definitely make sure you pack layers! I did not have room for enough layers in my backpack and I regret not bringing more items to keep myself warm. Overall I loved my experience at Crooked Creek and look forward to coming back!
