Nestled in rolling hills, a magnificent lake view from almost every site, Cranberry Lake Campground is exactly what you have been searching for.
Known for it’s great fishing: bass, pike, crappie, perch and blue gill, take your pick. They are all in abundance and they’re biting!
You don’t have to go far, just 20 miles south of Kalamazoo or 133 miles northeast from Chicago, to escape for a little fun and relaxation for the whole family.
We are located within 60 miles of sand dunes, Lake Michigan beaches, fishing lakes, hiking and biking trails, museums, multiple shopping and dining options.

Bad, Bad, Bad PR Karla. Shameful. As new camper owners, we are excited to pick some places for next year and went driving around some nearby campsites. This was our 5 minute experience at Cranberry....
We drove into the campgrounds and came upon the office which was closed with today being Sunday. We checked. Big sign in the window CLOSED and all the lights off, no signage or gate not to proceed so we continued thru to check out the grounds. After clearing the office building we saw 2 people standing in front, so we gave them a friendly wave and they did nothing but look at us funny.
We slowly drove thru and quickly eliminated this place as an option due to poorly maintained grounds, tiny lots, and what looked like ALL seasonal spots.
Our special needs daughter was in the back seat and started to feel sick and we thought she might BE sick, so we pulled over at the bathrooms. I was standing at the back door of our truck tending to her when Karla showed up in her golf cart asking very rudely what we were doing there. We started to explain that we were just looking around and she said something about using her bathrooms. I tried to explain what was going.on and she rudely.cut me off and yelled stop by the office next time. I told her it was closed. She said, "but you saw us standing right out front!". I replied, I didn't know who you were, you could have been a camper. She gave me a "if looks could kill" look and pointed at her shirt - as if I should have seen it was a "campground" shirt as we drove by and known exactly who she was.
Thanks Karen.... um... I mean Karla, you just ensured you will never have our business nor any of our camping community friends. Dang.
We had a great time, the campground was very clean and well maintained. If you forget something, the camp store in the office will have it! We will be going back again!!!
Great place to camp, not bad priced. If you need a last-minute tent camping spot, this is a good spot to come to. They need a few things updated, but overall a nice place.
Cranberry Lake Campground was a last minute choice for us. The lot was small but very grassy. The lake itself is very peaceful but extremely weedy! This is not a lake for swimming in. Overall, the staff are very friendly and helpful. My biggest complaint of the weekend was the onslaught of hornets every time we tried to eat outside.
Stayed here overnight while on a long road trip. I was getting in pretty late and the owner was so kind and helpful, and she put a map on the office door for me so I could find the campsite easily when I arrived. Quiet, pretty views on the lake, and campsite are nestled in the forest. Clean facilities.
