I had the sirloin steak platter. This was my first time ever ordering a steak here, and it was delicious!! Cooked perfectly to my liking, juicy, and seasoned really well!! 10 out of 10 on the steak and absolutely will order it again. It also came with 2 sides and shrimp. I choose green beans and dumplings. They accidentally brought me hash brown casserole, and it was not great. They did bring my chicken dumplings, and those were good! Biscuits were a little dryer than usual but still good. Service was great, and she kept our drinks filled!! We were seated quickly and waited on just as fast. Our waitress was friendly.
Food was good. Table service was a little slow. My first cup of coffee was gone and the cup was dry before I got a refill.
We love Cracker Barrel. They have never disappointed us. From the moment we walk in, we're greeted with a smiling face. The wait staff is excellent. The food is and always has been great. While we were there a week ago, the manager came out twice asking everyone how their food was.
Terry S was superb. Excellent service! The food was not hot; barely lukewarm. The portion size of the grilled tenders was almost half the size I get from most other Cracker Barrel restaurants I go to. In my travels, I stop at Cracker Barrel 3-6 times a week and I basically order the same dinner. If it wasn't for the exceptional service by Terry S, this visit would have been a bust. I have noticed that between 3-5pm is the worst times to get anything descent here at Cracker Barrel restaurants. It is due to food being held longer to prevent food waste, thereby rising food cost. What is more important here -- food cost or food quality?
The steak was amazing and the shrimp was delicious. I have never received such great service from the waitress that I had last night at dinner. She was extremely sweet and very helpful. She constantly checked on me and asked me if I needed anything. I also had Peach Cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and it was so delicious. I think she deserves a pay raise for her excellent customer service that she provided to me and her other customers. It’s hard to find good people who actually care about their customers and that actually make a difference in their experience in dining. Thank you for the excellent service and the amazing food.
