Corncreek is a small quiet campground with 10 full hook ups with Wifi and separate tent area Pavilion with grills and fire pit creekside porch for relaxing afternoons Full bathrooms and showers with laundry facility.
Corncreek Camp and Cabins in Mountain city Tenn directly on The Snake HWY 421 is geared towards the touring motorcyclist.
My wife and I stayed here for a month. This place has a great family feel to it. Big open pavilion to cook with, charcoal grills, and gas stove to that belongs in a restaurant. There is a stream that runs along the property behind the pavilion that adds to the atmosphere. There is also a giant fire pit with plenty of room to sit around. The manager's Ron & Paula are tops!! We really enjoyed their hospitality and they always went above & beyond to make sure everyone was happy!
Friendly, quiet, great views! The owners are hands-on, making sure that everyone is happy.
Absolutely fantastic little campground on the 421 highway in Mountain City. It's a small place, however what you'll find is an extremely attentive owner and camphost who hosts potlucks a few times per week, makes sure you have everything you need.
When have you ever had a campground owner call you on the road and recommend alternate routes to take as you're making way toward his property? Probably never, Doug the owner of Corn Creek did just that for us.
We're actually moving to the area and he's allowing us to stay until the deal closes, and if we needed more time, he would find us other arrangements.
Fantastic Service, reasonable rates and a true community feel.
It doesn't get better than that!
You will be hard pressed to find a better campground in the area which is great central point for motorcycles. Right at the beginning of the back of the snake. Doug is a super host. Sorry we missed him this year, however Ronnie and Paula are doing a great job filling in. A few of us from SC make it up there at least once a year to camp and ride the area. Have use of an outdoor kitchen area, elec hookup and water.
This place was so cute and had great hospitality. I put in a reservation request the day before we arrived. We had Doug reach out to us to confirm and actually let us stay in their comfy bunker instead of our tent since we were only staying overnight for 5 hours. It ended up being perfect since it was raining when we arrived. We highly recommend this campground! Thank you for all your help.
What a great place! It’s a large open field with hook ups around the perimeter so it feels real open. The scenery is awesome. Paula and Ronnie met us when we came in and made us feel right at home. They gave us lots of information about the area, we came here for hiking. There is a large outdoor kitchen/ patio area to hang out at. The facilities are rustic but they’re clean and homey.
