This house is absolutely amazing! I can't encourage you enough to visit. Wouldn't recommend in the winter if there is ANY CHANCE OF ICE, but we LOVED this house. Couples retreat from our church. Hands down, the nicest house I've ever stayed at.
Not suitable for family with kid. Kids safety issues. Front door to back door & all room doors are not having kids safety lock. We stayed 3 nights - all 3 nights unable to sleep properly with kids. Couple of times my 3 years & 5 years are opened door & standing in deck as well.
The premises was not sanitized properly. 8 out of 9 family stayed got severe flu on last day before we left.still kids are down and recovering. It’s terrific unclean mattress and blankets. I would recommend to carry your own bedding if you plan to stay there.
Just finished an awesome family reunion week at this lake house. Plenty of space for thirty family members ages 2 to 70+. The king-sized beds with private bathrooms were perfect for the adults. The queen bunks felt generously-sized for the kids. TVs in every bedroom. Fantastic laundry room and kitchen for large groups. The kitchen had sufficient tools and dishes for group meals and more than enough seating for everyone. The theater room was enjoyed by many and had enough space for teens to attempt an all-nighter and crash on the floor with sleeping bags. We loved the floating dock with the slide and the kayaks were a nice touch. There were a few minor issues - the mid-level deck door got stuck easily, the powder room lock on the top level didn’t work, the water level in the hot tub was a bit low. Like many Norris Lake properties, driving and parking were a bit of an issue. However, we liked that it was closer to La Follette than a previous rental. Overall a comfortable, clean, and spacious rental with attentive owners. The best Norris Lake property we’ve found!
Where do I start... went there in Springbreak 2021. Four families with a total of 9 kids. There was space easily for 3 more families.
The house is in an incredibly beautifully environment over Norris Lake, but this might as well been said of other properties in the area. What makes this property unique is the exhaustive care the owners (thank you Eric) have taken of every detail. From the quality of both the indoor and outdoor furniture, the jacuzzi, the table tennis, the cinema room... to the little but much appreciated details: a couple of kayaks available for us to enjoy we were not anticipating, the owner’s understanding and flexibility shown to rebook our stay out of the pandemic.
We had some unforgettable time.
Advice to new visitors: do not trust google maps to take you there. Follow Eric’s instructions or you will get lost. Access to the property is via a very steep path, careful with bikes and kids.
