Probably the most unprofessional employees I have ever encountered and I didn't even stay here! Whoever Curtis and Kelly Porter are - they could sure use lessons on customer service. I booked a site for a weekend and ended up having to cancel. I canceled within 48 hours of check-in time (per their cancellation policy) expecting a refund for following this policy. When I didn't receive the refund, I called to ask why. I was informed that I made reservations on the weekend of some festival that apparently is a big deal in Montana and that they wouldn't be refunding me because of that. I found it odd that nowhere in their cancellation policy did it state refunds wouldn't be given during festival weekends. I then sent an email to customer service explaining that I had no idea this festival was even going on and that I canceled within the 48 hour time frame, so not issuing me a refund would not be just of them. Well, to say the least, my very kind and well worded email definitely triggered these people. They told me they found it odd I had never heard of this festival given that my address on file is located in Montana and its one of the top Montana events of the year?? LOL ok?? God forbid I don't know about a festival in a state with a population of 10 people lmao. I've lived in Montana for a whole 2 months- jumping to these conclusions was very embarrassing on their part. They also informed me that I called after the 48 hour window, also embarrassing - their phone logs are not correct. I proceeded to email them a screenshot of my phone call log which clearly showed my call to them 48 hours in advance. Anyways, the attitude and unprofessionalism must be a Montana thing, because I have never experienced it elsewhere. After I emailed them back with clear proof, and equal attitude, they of course did not reply because they were awkwardly in the wrong *shocker*. Thankfully I disputed the charge with my credit card company and got my money back. I usually never waste my time writing reviews, but I had to for this place. I am embarrassed for them and hope they train their employees better because they sure lack knowledge and common customer service. And to anyone who books them in the future, be careful - especially if you need to cancel. They are out for your money, and even that can't make them happy apparently!

We are full time travelers/ live in an RV and have been at this campground for over two months now. We are very pleased with everything about it!

I’m a travel nurse and it’s usually hard finding an available, comfortable, and affordable campground to stay at. I’m thankful we found Conestoga! From the moment we called to book, Curtis and Kelly have been very accommodating and kind. When we arrived, Kathleen was very helpful and knowledgeable about the town and gave us the “inside scoop” on what to do. Eric and Linda, the hosts, have also been very fun to talk with and get to know as well as they work hard as the host. We get quite a few packages and the staff are always very understanding and never complain about it!

They are always working on the campground and they do a great job keeping it well groomed and nice.

Overall, the campground is quiet except maybe during peak times and bad parenting but it’s hard to help that of course.

We hope to stay again next season if the job allows!
