Our stay was great. Very well maintained park and sites. The fire pit was swept out and practically spotless before we got there. Sites are really spread out too which is nice. Picture was taken at sunset from our site.
First time visit, some of the trails were cement. Lots of picnic areas. Been driving by for years but never stopped. We'll definitely be exploring the area in the future.
Nice place for a day. But right along a hwy. Noisy, but great for getting back on the road & for a pit stop. Not great for a vacation spot. Public bathrooms were really dirty for only being early afternoon. Went last year & that is a change I saw this time. Much cleaner last year.
Very pretty area with all the ponds around it and quiet for being close to i25. Not much for hiking, but for someone who struggles with elevation changes this would be a great area to walk. Personally, I wish there was a little more to do, but worth a visit and a repeat stay for sure.
