From the U.S. 34/I-76 interchange, take Colorado Highway 39 north for 7.25 miles through Goodrich, then go west on Y.5 (follow the paved road) for 2.5 miles.
Nice, quiet place to camp, boat, and picnic. We were able to secure a campsite on short notice. There are covered restrooms with running water and showers, but some were in better shape than others. We drove to a different campsite for a shower with hot water. Leashed dogs are allowed, there's a small store at the marina to get extra supplies. It was a nice, relaxing weekend here!
This is a beautiful lake, I enjoy every time I come here. Be prepared for the mosquitos though. I have never seen so many at once. I like that they have electric and water for RVs. Better to camp there during the week. We left on Thursday, and it was already packed, and more coming. ;)
Location of our campsite was little far from the crowd. Which we like, but our parking spot was flooded, so we were not able to park in our site spot. Short distance walk to our campsite. Loved the view, but they definitely can trims some hedges and trees to get better view of the lake. Overall the experience camping at Jackson lake was great! Room for our tent, right by the lakeside. Restrooms were decent. Will definitely come back to camp longer and explore the areas.
We absolutely loved our week camping here. The sites are great and the place is very clean. Our vacation here was the best ever!!! We will definitely come back. Oh and the spaces are pretty level.
