I had a good time here in April for some isolated camping. There is plenty of space and decently flat ground. I didn't like the amount of trash everywhere in the woods. When i saw someone leave they left all of their trash in the fire bit. I can see thia please being a good time. I spent half the day picking up trash and a few weeks of that might clean that place up a bit. It is nice otherwise

Last year we came here and couldn't find a spot here or at the nearby Rainbow Lake. This time we did get a spot and had a good time. The fall colors were very beautiful. There was one campsite completely covered in trash with some folks there that had obviously been there for an extended period of time. The rest was also crowded with people on 4x4s during the day. I would go somewhere less crowded in hindsight for a more peaceful trip

No dogs off the leash and trash everywhere. The Forestry folks have really been slacking. Fire danger everywhere. No parking for ATV trailers , homeless camping at most sites. Heard a rave all night last time. It used to be a nice place. Now, not so much. Too many gunshots near sites . Watch the kiddos

Don't stay to long , you see the worst of people if you stay around to long and see everything.

dirty in places from the locals every weekend they come up and leave stuff

But California people come and steal sites when people go hiking or travel to town green chair is someone's site holder .
