Last year we came here and couldn't find a spot here or at the nearby Rainbow Lake. This time we did get a spot and had a good time. The fall colors were very beautiful. There was one campsite completely covered in trash with some folks there that had obviously been there for an extended period of time. The rest was also crowded with people on 4x4s during the day. I would go somewhere less crowded in hindsight for a more peaceful trip
