Great location to explore the Grand Mesa park. I stayed in a cabin which provided great value, but few amenities. There is no fridge or microwave, so come prepared. Toilets are a short walk away and showers are $2 for 10min, so bring singles and also a towel as those are not provided. The store is very well stocked and gas is available as well. Overall a good value if you can plan well, the staff is nice. Don't forget to bring a water storage container to save yourself many trips to and from the main building.
My husband and I stayed here after a botched plan to stay somewhere else for our Honeymoon. Upon arrival we were treated like family! Rhonda is amazing and her infectious laugh and bubbly personality immediately puts you at ease and makes the day seem a little brighter. Every interaction with staff and ownership was kind an welcoming. We had our pups with us and found that not only were we welcomed, the staff was sweet and made sure to love on our fur babies.. The cabins are adorable and offer a beautiful view of the mesa and a warm and comfy place to rest. The restrooms and showers are a short walk, attached to the general store where you can find most camping/picnic essentials and even offer some yummy pizza! Would definitely recommend to friends and family!
This is a basic park, not fancy but comfortable with very pleasant people running the show. Other pluses include an excellent park store and a very large and clean shower stall./restroom But the real winner here is the setting. It is what elevates this park to five stars. Climb the hill to the fire station and be amazed. And, be sure to drive Hwy 65 either to or from Grand Junction. It is awesome.
Worst place ever, TOTAL False advertising!!
This is what you’ll get:
Creepy lot with long term occupants
Not big rig friendly
pull throughs narrows
not level
Dumpy and crowded
too much slope
The space between the rigs was ridiculously close
“Pit bulls” unleashed who wants to chase other dogs. No need to have killers dogs next to me!
They have their policy to leash dogs, but not for their employees, what makes ii dangerous for any tourist!
The place has nothing close. False advertising again.
Clean and friendly service .. they have almost anything you need on if u forgot it before you go skiing or hiking 🥾 . Cash is easiest unless you are spending over 5.00 dollars on a card . Small cabins for the night . Unless you have an RV . They do offer 🚿 showers , coin operated.
