This forest had exactly 0 Goblins. False Advertising. I was really looking forward to catching some goblins and making a goblin stew. I had the settle for chipmunk stew.

A nice forest before and after the trail becomes exposed further up.

I made my camp thereand set up a camera. I got a recording of a goblin with backpack, probably walking to a fresh dead moose. Fresh carcass is goblins snack.

Good option for climbing Longs Peak, otherwise I wouldn't recommend this campsite. Hikers were very loud at 2-3am when preparing to depart. Also, at 10,000' in the shadow of a 14er, its often stormy/rainy/cloudy even when close by areas are sunny. Getting pounded by sleet/rain/hail when setting up a tent is not fun.

Great hike to Goblins Forest! Took us about an hour to get up there. Uphill pretty much the whole way. But we were able to set up camp and then hike up a little more!
