Pleasant creek is a no fuss, primitive campground. It is beautiful & on the mighty Mississippi with a boat ramp & nice bridge to walk across. It has been flooded quite a bit in recent years & when it is flooded, it is closed.
Love this camp grounds! Has a nice sandy beach with good bank fishing. Also get place to go for a swim or picnic. The only negative is no electric sites.
Peaceful, beautiful, very rustic. Only downside was hearing barge traffic 3 went up river 👍
Nice camping area with pit toilets and no other facilities on the Mississippi river. Concrete boat ramp they charge $5 per day. The lower half of the campground where we liked to camp has been closed for several years and I'm told it won't reopen. UPDATE: campgrounx closed for the season Oct. 15. The boat ramp is still open and there is no fee after the campground closes.
Rating the ramp facility only. Never camped here.
Ramp is intact and parking is easy. There isn't any docking for large pleasure craft, but there is a very long (100 yards?) Sandy section that small\medium boats can be beached on without causing damage to your rig. There is an outhouse style Park bathroom, it's a little ways away from the ramp. This ramp is best suited for fishermen.
