Super outdoor wildlife area. You can see wild cats, bear, wolf, coyote, turkey, fox, owls, hawks, and the cutest raccoon. There is a nice shop for souvenirs. A place to get into on places to see in Iowa. Friendly people to help you.

Nice facility with a cute little gift shop. Enjoy the animal exhibits. Have Heritage Days annually in October. Fun, family friendly event! Love to get local honey and buffalo jerky here!!!

I stopped by on a whim after seeing the sign, and I'm so glad I did. The nature center was really fun and informative. I loved walking through the area where the animals are housed. A couple of the staff were feeding the bear when i walked up, and we had a great conversation about the animals and the park. There's a whole area of old buildings set up to look like an old town. I didn't go over to this area, but it looked really cool. This is a great place to bring the kids. You could also stop by and have a picnic on the grounds. Lots of parking.
