About Campground

Cleveland Reservoir Campground is located along Utah's scenic Energy Loop on top of the Wasatch Plateau off Hwy 31 approximately 18 miles east of Fairview, Utah. Cleveland Reservoir Campground sits at an approximate elevation of 9,000 feet and is located next to Cleveland Reservoir, a 135.8 acre reservoir located in Huntington Canyon off UT-31. Vault toilets are provided, but there is no water, electricity, sewer hookups, or garbage service. This is a "pack it in, pack it out" site, so all trash must be removed upon departure. This campground sits on the north end of the Arapeen OHV trail system and is adjacent to the Lake Canyon Trail System that houses twelve miles of OHV trails within reach of this campground. The Department of Wildlife Resources of Utah (DWR) stocks this reservoir with Rainbow Trout but this campground is also within two miles of Huntington Reservoir as well that is stocked with Tiger Trout.

Directions

From Huntington, head north on Main Street toward 100 North.  Turn west onto UT-31 and travel approximately 29.1 miles.  Turn left onto Cleveland Reservoir Parking Road #53202 and travel approximately 0.2 miles to Cleveland Reservoir Parking.

We fish here often. The lake is full, so they isn't much of a bank to sit on. The fishing was good and we all caught our limit of good sized trout. Campsites are best for tents and small trailers, bigger trailers won't fit well.

None of the campgrounds that were open were level enough for a tent. There was broken glass everywhere. None of the areas were clear of rocks to pitch my tent thus putting holes in the floor of a brand new tent. If you are tent camping stay far away from these campgrounds. The only decent thing about it was the restroom. Everything else was terrible. My family and I will never camp here again until something is done about the rocks. I know its nature but clear a few spots for tents for gods sake. We pay to camp here.

We didn't camp here. We camp a little further up. We love to go on the water. Great place for paddle boards and kayaks.
