The owner is a very rude person he really enjoys yelling at females when there husband ain’t around. Before we came here we called was told there was parking for two vehicles per lot but once there find out that’s not true. They charge extra for parking. We stayed in the summer and the pool was nasty green for over a month. Once open all the crack heads that live are work there treat it like a bathtub like you can see an oil slick on top of the water. They the guy that drives the black dodge car that works in the office I’m sure he is one of the ones selling dope
Carthage RV Campground is a wonderful overnight camping spot! The sites are large and paved and they have plenty of green space between lots. It is easily walkable without mud/dirt. The water and electric hookups were in good shape and sewer system hookup looked new although we didn’t hookup to it. We appreciated the quiet space after a day on the road.
Just stopped overnight because it was convenient. Large spots, pull through, easy connections. We had a problem with the camper before getting started, so were late arriving. They called to check on us while we were on the road to make sure we would arrive while still in the office. We were lead to our spot when we arrived.
