Very nicely laid out. Quiet at night save for hiway noise. Beautiful lake to fish in. Little ducks all around. Nice smaller swimming pool, pool table, free CDs and exercise machines in the meeting room and lounge. Where we're located the park the wifi is unreliable, so other methods for streaming may be necessary. So far the admin is very nice, and pricing is moderate plus. Every possible retail and food stores are located within a short drive. We like it here and will likely stay for several more months.

Great place to stay. Been there twice once for a week and back again for 4 months. The owners are great. Great location to get into Houston. I have family that lives close by so that's a plus! It's an older park but kept very clean. I highly recommend it.

Lone Star Lakes is run by folks who obviously take great pride in their facility. The restrooms/showers were always clean and in good order. They place trash cans in corals strategically near multiple sites and empty them daily. They even thought of lighting each sites utility pedestal for ease of use at night. The sites are paved and have a raised wooden deck with picnic table on them. There is a centrally located, air conditioned recreation room with tables and plenty of games for entertainment. We did not use the washer/dryer facilities but I have no doubt they are cared for as well as the rest of the campground. The pool was clean and fenced in for safety. Wifi was great with good speeds. Our Verizon service worked perfectly while there as well.

As others have said there are seasonal and long term residents but we have no complaints at all. Everyone was quiet, friendly and polite during our stay.

There are plenty of restaurants and stores withing just a few miles of the RV park. We tried Airi Poke & Ramen and Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream while we were there. They are only a few minutes from Big Rivers Waterpark. After seeing the campground that is across the street from Big Rivers I am glad we stayed here. So much shade vs none at all. The lake is beautiful and the ducks were fun and unafraid. We found them wandering near us quite often.

We have stayed in a few RV parks now and this one is at the top of our list. Thanks for a great stay!

I changed my review of the place. This is one of the nicest parks I have stayed. There is free WiFi, antenna TV, don't care I watch Netflix. This a very nice park. Wish I would have known this place was here weeks ago. I think I found my home away from home. There are bathrooms, game room, a get to together at. I really think this one of best parks in Houston.

My kids and I stayed here with my parents in their camper when they came to visit from Kansas. It was a lovely week out there. It felt similar to a state park (not so much a parking lot style RV park thankfully) in the sense of all the trees nearby the sites and a nice nature path by the lake. They had a playground, pool, clean restrooms and a fully furnished game room! We had fun feeding the ducks at the lake too!
