This review may seem strange since I have not visited this location however I am a firm believer that great customer service should be acknowledged. I made reservations to stay at this property months ago. Three weeks ago, my truck had to go into the shop and the dealership is still playing games with me. No truck, no way to pull my 5th wheel. I contacted Sun Outdoors and spoke with Ben prior to my scheduled arrival to give him a heads-up that I was having challenges. Then today, after realizing that I would not have my truck back in time, I finally had to call again and spoke with Cindy M. Thanks to her caring ear and going to bat for my cause, Sun Outdoor made considerations for my predicament and provided a more than fair proposal on how we could resolve my late cancellation. Most businesses these days would take the attitude that "it was not their problem" but not these folks. I want to thank them and make sure that they know that they already have another satisfied customer. Yes, I said "another" since some friends of mine who are already there have been ranting about the location since their arrival, so double kudos to you folks at Sun Outdoors!

My husband and I decided to go on a little getaway over the weekend and we made the perfect choice by coming here! There was so much to do, even for two adults. I do think it would be nice if it were closer to the beach, but honestly you start to forget about that once you see everything there is to do. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly, but Paige, the sweet young lady who served us at the restaurant, made our experience so much more enjoyable! She was so knowledgeable and had a smile on her face the entire time. The food was incredible as well, my husband and I shared a BBQ chicken pizza and we thought it was great! I know we'll be back and I'll be recommending this place to my friends and family. We appreciate everyone who made our weekend so enjoyable!

The parks grounds and the RV spot itself was great. The location is a little far from Myrtle beach but an easy drive. For long term folks, be aware, you can't have mail, packages/Amazon delivered to the property. Big inconvenience for us. The bar was nice and the bartenders were all friendly and professional. The food was hit and miss and the communication with happy hours and specials were lacking between staff. The prices are a little high, $5.50 for a miller lite is a bit overpriced for a small RV park bar IMO. It's a corporate park so it's all about making money. A lot of the amenities were closed as it was off season and for the most part, all the weekly activities were the same. Mostly designed for kids however. We had a relaxing time there but because of the prices, we likely wouldn't return.

I was planning a wedding elsewhere but all of my guest were staying in the small houses and we came to talk to Corinne about having an after party, we came and show how beautiful the room was and how immaculate the entire place was we decided to switch the whole wedding to here. I can not tell you how wonderful Corinne was to work with, she did an amazing job as well as the bartenders the waitresses, and the food was absolutely delicious, everything was perfect. My guests loved staying in the cottages, they couldn’t believe how comfortable and clean they were. Darlene in the front office was also so wonderful to everyone who checked in, accommodating last minute changes, and the bartenders who work the regular bar were so friendly. If you are ever looking for a place to have any sort of party, or looking to come for a vacation check out this place.

We were there Feb 2024 with our 2 kids and German Sheppard. We had a great time. It's nice to be away from the touristy area but still had the ability to get there quickly. Not everything was open because it was cool out. Kind of a bummer that during the week the bar and food area were closed. We rented a golf cart, although not necessary it was a convenience.

The bowling was fun for our toddlers, and the playgrounds were the perfect size. The indoor pool was quiet, we enjoyed a few swims.

We will be back to experience all that we missed.

We had to have a tire blow out fixed, there was a mobile tire service that came right to our site and replaced all 4 tires in less than 2 hours.

A few things to know. If you need propane you have to drive 15 minutes each away to fill up. There is a Walmart and the outlets are also only 15 minutes away.

We went to North Myrtle Beach one day and if it were in season that would have been difficult to find parking.
