Awesome place. Alot of friendly dogs for my dogs to play with. It's secluded, has a free shower and a bathroom. It's winter so I didn't get to check out the pool. The owners are great people. I stayed there for 2 weeks while working in owensboro. Has cabins, rvs and tent sites you can't rent for a cheap price. Like Arnold says "ALL BE BACK"

Camp fires, Swimming, trails, 50A power on every site, super pet friendly and a private bath house. . . . Seriously, you can't find a better campground option since any size Rv's will fit. Plus there are fully furnished cabins and infinite tent spots available if you don't have a camper. This camp ground is big enough to be spacious while being small enough not to feel over crowded. 10/10

Owners were extremely friendly and pleasant to chat with. Nice laid back park with some full timers, everyone was super friendly. I don't think I've ever stayed in a more dog friendly park than this. My dogs loved it!

READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING!

This location isn't dog friendly; it's irresponsible pet ownership!

The campground's conditions were disappointing. It resembled a junkyard, lacking adequate facilities like pads or a sufficient bathhouse. Because of the "free roaming" dogs there was feces everywhere!

The lack of leash policy led to two incidents involving our leashed and trained dogs.

In one event, two small, unleashed dogs and owner came out of the only one person bathhouse and charged at my son, our 2 dogs, and myself about 50 feet away. Despite our efforts to avoid dog conflict (no contact), their owner inaccurately reported our dogs as the aggressors.

Similarly, another loose dog approached our camper, causing a minor scuffle with our trained protection dog, who was initially in our camper. Thankfully there were no injuries but a simple leash would have prevented this. The owner of the roaming dog, unconcerned initially, later falsely claimed our dog attacked theirs unprovoked.

We were asked to leave the campgrounds via text message because of the false reports against our dogs…The only ones trained, leashed, and not covered in burrs.

I advise caution to potential visitors.

Update. In response the owners try to control the narrative. There was no harassment or harm. There wasn't even bad language, We requested a less than 2 minute phone call (mind you we were asked to leave by text) to clarify the problem. It was professional. We picked up and left asap. So yeah, I feel great about myself thanks.

WATER SIDE CABIN :

Don’t have any negative thing to say. Our family enjoyed our weekend! We had fun fishing and roasting marshmallows around our fire, we walked trails and let the kids play on the trampoline and swingset, and we enjoyed the pack of dogs that came to check on us twice during our stay. They even walked us all the way back to the cabin; they are the goodest babies. The little cabin was cozy and comfortable. View was beautiful; very quiet and peaceful out there. owner was super sweet and down to earth. Definitely will be coming back again!
