Love that place, its a great way to just get out and have fun and just live. Once you get out there, you won't wanna leave, its also a great way to spend time with friends and do what you love! Which for me is, having fun with friends and muddin lol :) So, If I were you, I'd hop in the truck and go! :D Its the best trip you'll ever make!
This is a very nice plot of land for hunting. First off, go to the Fish and Wildlife website and get the map that shows you which plots of land you can be on and which need permission. If you do that and make sure that there are not any hunts going on when you are there, it will be a great experience if you go with your hunting dog. I went there for multiple days, didn't even get to go on all of it due to how large it is. Found multiple cubbies of wild quail as well.
