About Campground

Youth Group Camping

There are five youth group camping sites available and reservations are required. Youth Group passes are honored.

Access to pit toilets, fire ring, and one 12 foot picnic table are provided with each site. (Available April-October)

You can make reservations through parkreservations.maryland.gov or by calling 1-888-432-2267.

Directions

From St. Mary's Co. take Rt. 4 north approximately 9 miles. Turn Right on Rt. 765 to park entrance. Proceed with directions. From Points north take Rt. 2/4 south approximately 14 miles south from Prince Frederick. Turn left on Rt. 765 to park entrance. Proceed with directions. Facing Park entrance, turn left on H.G. Truman Hwy. Travel half a mile (just past Middleham Chapel). Turn Right on Camp Conoy Road. Follow to the end of the hard surface road and bear right onto dirt road. The entrance to Bay Breeze will be about half a mile on the right.

The camp sites are average. Pretty long hike to the beach area. A lot of area cliffs are blocked off.

I’ve never been BUT I want to make people aware that this has gated access and reservations must be made! Many people unintentionally trespass because they go to the end of the road and land on personal property looking for the gold at the end of the rainbow.
