We love this treasure in Garrett Co only 20 mins from home. So many camping trips over the years when my husband and I were first married, and then we'd take our littles hike or swim. Known to us aa Swauger's.

Excellent day the park!! Took the family to enjoy some time in the sun. Fun times in the lake and met very nice people out with their families. Took a walk on the White Oak trail and saw deer on our walk. It was an awesome time today. We will definitely be going back

Absolutely beautiful park Great hikes. The lake is beautiful We rented a canoe and caught two fish! So happy that the American volkswarding association chose this as one of their walks. It was a great part to visit I definitely want to go back to Maryland to check out more of their state parks I was presently surprised.

We were in Cabin 1 in mid December during the week. The park was vert quiet. We stayed in the cabin almost the whole time. It was as comfortable as a hotel suite. The kitchen was equipped enough for us. The cabin was surprisingly warm with baseboard heating and we used the fireplace several times. The only complaint is that it could do with a new mattress. Highly recommended as a getaway. You don't get cell service in the park which was a blessing for us, but may not be for you.

Went here for a work retreat and the park is wonderful this time of year. The park is in a valley where there’s no cell service so it is a great place to unplug. The snow on the ground and the cold fresh air really emphasized how cozy the cabins are once you get a fire going (or use the baseboard heaters, I won’t judge). Will be back again some day.

If I could ask for anything here it would be coat racks in the living room area for Cabin 2 (it only had hanger pegs on the inside of the bathroom door for some reason?).
