I love the quiet serenity of this haven. Clean, quiet, with cottontails hopping along the blackberries. I Love the small store and flea market near the park. I like the host Sue and her big boisterous boxer. Charlie works at nearby store, He's a sweetheart. Laura works at the adjacent country flea market. She is also kind and personable.
Unfortunately, the water is unsafe. Bring your OWN water for EVERYTHING. Don't use ANY tap. Don't swim, don't touch caught fish until they rinsed in clean water. I'll attempt to upload the county warning signs posted 2021.
The host Sue was so rude to me and my party. She has no people skills and she needs some lessons in manners. She ruined the trip for us. Do not come here if you want have a lady on her golf cart chasing you down acting like she was the Police.
excellent spot for fishing and/or launching boat/watercraft...not so much for playing in the water along the shore...campsites look clean and spacious
This used to be a great place to camp and dock your boat but its definitely in need of repairs the docks are sketchy the restroom needs help but not a busy place so plenty of fishing spots
Cozy and scenic little campground with a boat dock and fishing pier(no launch ramp). Very clean and well maintained. You feel like you are so far from any city, it is a really peacefull place.
