Nice boat launch onto Jenkinson Lake. We were able to back our trailer down the ramp and launch 6 canoes for a Youth Camp. The launch made getting into the lake go smoothly.

Great lake for paddling! Wish the boat rental were open better hours. The best times for kayaking are early in the morning and close to sunset especially in the summer.

Not the prettiest lake around, but the trail along the edge is nice and the man-made waterfall is suprisingly awesome. You can swim at the base of it and jump off rocks. Unlike the lake, the waterfall pool is clear, rocky, and shaded.

local and this is my nearest boat ramp. very steep and long walk amongst the bears and wild animals. this ramp works but i hate it almost as much as the ramp at new bullards. just as long as the ramp at markelys / Berryessa, but 50% more steep. tourists clog it up with kayaks and lawn chairs. water is very very low here now anyways. best to visit amador instead.. nov 2022.

Beautiful relaxing spot with camping spaces, boat launch, hiking trails. Great for day use, fishing, picnics etc.
