This is by far the best lake in the area. Clean, not as crowded, lots of watercraft play. There is fishing although I was not so lucky 😉. Dogs are allowed on leash and poo bags are provided at the many available restrooms. Overall great experience.

I've lived in the area for over 20 years and we didn't even know that the lake existed in our backyard. That's what happens when you're always commuting to work. Needless to say, I found this lake by chance when my grandsons came to visit and wanted to go swimming. I am so glad we did. The lake was beautiful, clean and felt safe. 💪🏖🏊‍♂️ A win win for all of us.

Abandoned park. Assume dispersed camping.

All facilities and garbage cans are destroyed.

Broken glass on many parking spots from beer bottles and windows.

For a 104° Saturday, we cleaned up our strip of beach and had the place to ourselves until some others arrived.

From my last visit a couple years ago, it’s day and night.

If you want a good spot, I suggest you clean up for it and pack out your trash.
