This rate is only for tent camper.
We’ve camped with our tent one night. We arrived at night and there was no light in the campground. We’ve stayed not so far from RVs, unfortunately tent and rv may be close to each other which makes it very noisy. Once the quiet time arrives (10pm) we can highly hear the highway. Also, we wanted to go to the restrooms but there is no light. The day after we were expecting a rudimentary shower (which is totally fine) but no shower at all. Once we’ve arrived we never received any information on the campground status. We paid 25 dollars. I would have paid 10 max.
We came from San Diego area to spend weekend with family as we have done many times in the past. We just love the area and camping here. Unfortunately this weekend was less then the enjoying weekend we had planned for ! There is some woman name Patty that works in the park. This woman is the "RUDEST" person I have ever encountered working with the public !!!! She has no business what so ever working in such an environment.
If it hadn't been for the actual camp host Katina and her husband more then welcoming hospitality our weekend adventure would have been a total bust !!!!
They were just awesome people. Exactly the type of people that should be working as campground hosts 😇
As it turned out in the end we had a good weekend because of them. 😀
Restrooms are cleaned and restocked regularly. FYI: This is a county park: there's no power at the campsites, nor showers. Having said that, this place usually has peace and quiet at night, and, of course, there is river access. Big plus: closest camping to Fresno (under 20 miles from Fresno). Camp host, Bernice, is great at monitoring the campsite and ensuring that park rules are followed. This is a great place to bring the kids and introduce them to outdoor camping.
