Great camping sites, boat rentals and more. Only down side is finding a site they are over crowded and often leave reservation signs up that are not valid. Spent 4 hours looking last time only to find that the site I wanted was not actually taken. Other than it is awesome. Always ask the office first

I had fell in love with Ruth Lake from the beginning almost 15 years.

Everytime I get a chance to come back I take it. Great fishing, camping and all around get away from the grind.

I dedicate an afternoon to walking the shore line picking up trash and fishing line out of respect for the lake, wish more people would do the same.

Although it has been through a lot in the last few years, Ruth Lake is still a beautiful place that is worth a visit. Camping, boat rentals, beautiful views, small vibes, and community all be it a little singed around the edges.

March 2023. Cold. Snowy. And still recovering from the 2020 fire. Lots of wildlife though - deer, squirrels, bald eagles and ducks. Many happy times here and hoping for a full recovery.
