I lived here while traveling for work for I think around 8 months. Its not a luxury RV park but it’s a good place to stay and be comfortable. I loved it here. It was reasonably priced and convenient to everything I needed. Phyllis and Dan were always so sweet and friendly to me and were around to help me when I needed it. Dan even took my bike and locked it up for me one weekend when I went away and forgot to chain it to the RV. I'm a solo female traveler so having them looking out for me when I'm so far from home meant SO much to me. I always felt safe and like they were watching my back when needed. The location was convenient to Fort Bragg and Mendocino as well as to the route inland if you're headed to the cities. I loved my neighbors for the most part who were friendly and kind. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat if I returned.
Oh man. I have so many things to say about this place. The staff here are such wonderful people. Them making us feel like good friends, saying they'll miss us when we leave, and always having such a wealth of information about the area around Fort Bragg, among many other things, was incredible. We are so grateful to have found this place, and decided to stay here.
The facilities and grounds are cleaned and maintained on regular basis.
The rates are quite affordable.
The staff are better than could ever hope for.
The long term residents are super talkative and friendly. Easy to strike up a good conversation.
Everything here is simply wonderful. I would absolutely recommend this place to stay at. You'll love it!
Set up a reservation and then had to call and cancel due to a family death. I decided to still try and go and call and not only did they help keep our reservation but got us the same site. Very clean bathroom and shower and very quiet at night. Very friendly staff. Would definitely go back again.
I spent one month at Woodside from late April until late May 2022. I'm traveling in a Ford Transit campervan and had a lovely grassy spot with picnic table, fire ring, access to water and the bathrooms. It's a very well run organized campground and I felt at home and safe there. It's also quiet at night. Bathrooms are basic concrete block but reasonably new and kept very clean. Showers with lots of hot water. The water at the campground is well water with an excellent filtration system so I didn't need to filter and it tasted good. WiFi is good, cell service in the town of Fort Bragg is a little weak once you're outside of the center but it was good enough. Would recommend this campground!
Had an amazing time in Fort Bragg, CA. Furthermore, Woodside campground is an excellent place to stay. Families owned and operated the property manager, Phyllis is super nice and very friendly. The property is just south of Fort Bragg a little more than 5 minutes away from city centre. The grounds are super clean and closed to the ocean you can hear the ocean at night when it’s a bit quieter. The washroom are clean with *ADA assessability, and there private showers rooms coin-operated machine for hot water and there a *ADA shower too.
