From Adin go east on County Road 88 approximately 8 miles to County Road 22 and follow the signs to the campground
The TH is literally right at the edge of the parking lot. The trail is good to use to access other Laguna trails and to take a quick, moderate, relatively short hike.
Its away from the city, its quiet and people are friendly. Leave your trash at home as well as your attitude! Enjoy the PCT nearby and the views. Join a club and do some trail maintenance so we all can enjoy this for years to come.
Always a pleasant hike. Stay to the left (upper trail) for easier hike, go to the right for a more difficult hike that takes you up and down slopes and to the bottom of the canyon. It is awe inspiring to stand at the base of a tree and look straight up.
4.7 mile loop if following marker #4. At 8am on a Thursday didn’t see a soul. Mostly shaded amidst beautiful forest, few open meadow parts. Some ascending and descending, good workout. Really nice trail, would recommend.
Easy kid friendly 4 mile trail. Patches of snow when we hiked it on 3/19. A few stream crossings that will not get your feet wet. .5 miles away when you make left from the parking lot is a small store and a few driving feet from that is the visitors center. Plenty of parking. Bring your Adventure Pass or National Park pass to display on your dashboard. No restroom at parking lot. Enjoy!
