Most of the campsites are small and on the side of the hill. The bathrooms are pretty nasty and the shoreline by the dock is poor. No camp fires as of July 1st.

Loved it the views were amazing the water was warm only thing I didn't like was after a certain time the park rangers dont patrol and don't man the booth where you call the number to report a concern, I was told generators have to be turned off at 8 pm yet not only was there a generator going pretty much the whole time even at night there was extremely loud music and 5 tent sites converging onto one for a party that lasted until 3am...... hope it was just a one time thing where they had no one to patrol

We camp here a lot during the summer. It's really hot but we spend most of our time on the lake. We have run across a few big spiders in our tent so make sure you close your tent tight every time. There have also been a couple snakes on the paths but they have never given us any trouble.

Road coming up makes it very inconvenient to go back into town once here. They’ve also decided that since we’re in a heatwave they wanted to last minute turn off the water so no one has flushable toilets or showers. Seriously think they’re trying to kill us all it’s 109 degrees… should’ve at least offered a refund.

Awesome place to camp. Other campsites near Bay Area are always full. Though this one is a little bit far away but definitely worthy of coming. The road might be too winding so need to drive very carefully and slowly. Many people would be here and play around so we feel very safe to stay. Overall I would like to come here again.
