Located in the heart of the beautiful Napa Valley wine country, the Park offers Napa valley camping, picnicking, swimming, and hiking trails that go through stands of coastal redwoods as well as forests of Douglas-fir, tanoak, and madrone.
Park is open year round.
A few drop-in sites are available on a first-come-first-serve especially during the off season.
The park is located 5 miles north of St. Helena and 4 miles south of Calistoga on Highway 29/128.
Nice quite campground near the Napa wineries. Most of the spaces easily accommodate 25 foot RVs and a tow vehicle. Some spaces can handle larger. Quick drive to Calistoga or numerous wineries. Plenty of room between spaces. Hilly so some of the spaces have a bit of a slope to them but not excessive.Restrooms are modern and clean. No dump station.
Great hike for family. Perfect for small kids. Nice facilities available at vamp sites.
My family and I love coming to this camping ground. Great little spot to spend the weekend and for a great price.
Stay for 2 nights at #1 yurt.
Yurt is clean and has no smell. You can put another queen-size air mattress on the side. The bathroom and shower are in front of the yurt.
The place is close to the main street, and there is construction on the main street during our stay, Apr 14 to 16, so it is very noisy all night long.
The bathroom has a 3pin plug for hairdryer. There is no electricity in the yurt. 20min to cloest town with Safeway, so in case you need anything, it is very convenient. They do sell firewood for $10/bundle at the site.
