Beautiful view of the Redwoods and camping grounds well kept with professional State Ranger Jim was helpful and concerned for the campers and prestigious Redwoods.
During the late spring to early fall this pond is stocked by CA DFG every week. This is a place of fond family memories. Fishing here is ok, but the pond is pretty small with tons of snags.
This campground is adjacent to a fishing pond. The bathrooms smell pretty bad and other people can be quite rowdy, rude, and intrusive. The camp host during recent July months is kind. It can also get quite crowded on Thursdays through Sundays or if other campground are closed (i.e. Balch Park of Tulare County, July 2019).

This campground is decent although it is pretty small which might be a good or bad thing depending on your preferences. It has vault toilet no shower here. Also there is a small pond here you will surely get trout as long as you have the right bait and if it stocked of course. This place is always my 2nd choice IF other campgrounds are full. $15/night max of 2 cars I believe.
Great place to take your friends and family for a relaxing and mellow camping trip. Plenty of trout to catch at the pond. They offer restrooms, clean running water, bear proof storage, picnic tables and bond fire pits.
