Borders the Wildlife Refuge and owned by Gambles Quail that are all over the park. Spacious gravel sites with a very accommodating owner. We had two dogs and had lots of room to get them out. We stayed 4 nights and yes there’s trains,1 or 2 a night, but no road traffic and very quiet otherwise. We didn’t use the restroom but they appeared clean with one small shower. You can’t beet the location for access to the Refuge. As I said lots of quail, roadrunner, curved bill thrasher and several other species in the campground.

Out of the way place. Very quiet, but there is a train. Owner is super cool. Nearest atm or decent store is in Socorro. We have been here a month enjoyed our stay.

This is a wonderful no frills park with full hook sites. Wildlife roams the area, and is generally a quiet place. We have enjoyed our stay very much. The owner is a wonderfully nice fellow that manages this friendly park, while treating you like family.
