We stayed at Borderline RV Park four days, and I was impressed.

Don't book a stay here expecting resort type amenities- those aren't implied or offered. But you can expect a good level campsite, adequate privacy, and peace & quiet.

We stayed in site #4 in our 38' Class A. We had FHUs and everything worked as expected. The previous occupant even left a load of campfire wood!

Didn't use the shower facilities. We did use the onsite laundry, which was clean and well ordered.

There seem to be mostly seasonal campers at the campground, and their sites were well maintained.

At $25 per night, this place is a bargain.

Full hook ups, strong WiFi, large campsites, clean bathrooms and free showers for 35$ - that's a good deal.

My husband and I purchased and moved into our rig fulltime at the beginning of this season so Borderline is the first place we've ever stayed - unfortunately, I think Nancy & Lee have ruined us for anywhere else!! We moved in mid-May and everything here has exceeded our expectations. Not only is the price the best in the area for what you get, but as hosts Lee & Nancy have been amazingly kind and helpful. Lee has let my husband borrow tools when we had to fix something and didn't have the right equipment yet, the heated bathhouse has been wonderful (especially the first week when our water heater wasn't working!), sites are well-maintained, level gravel with outdoor carpet, Nancy comes around regularly to check in on folks (or deliver the multitude of things we've had to order online!) and the campground as a whole is nice & quiet - even on holiday weekends. I was a bit concerned about being close to the highway but at our site near the woods you can't hear much, and it does make it quick & easy to get anywhere. The mosquitos can be bad in late May/early June & they don't spray for them, but I can tell you the whole Northwoods was pretty bad this year from so much rain and as a wildlife biologist, I appreciate that they aren't using chemicals everywhere. Just be prepared with whatever mosquito repellant you prefer and you should be fine. Other bugs haven't been a problem & especially glad we haven't seen any ticks. The campground is dog-friendly and there are a few walking trails in the woods out back, plus plenty of wildlife! We've seen all kinds of nesting birds, there's a group of turkeys that roam around, I found a small bright green garter snake one day, we saw a black bear out back one day and heard coyotes just a few nights ago. A true Northwoods experience in every way and if we ever need a place to live up this way again, I know where we will be.
